wHAT WE WILL ACCEPT:
The condition of your items should not have the following: rips, chips, cracks, stains, damage, and scratches. Given the nature of certain items, we will accept some wear and tear within reason.
We will only accept items that are suitable for the store. Ideally, we are looking for unique, collectible, antique, vintage, and modern home décor items such as:
Vases
Mirrors
Crystals
Lamps (working condition)
Cushions
Rugs (wool)
Candle Holders
Sheepskin
Large Blankets
Sculptures
Trays
Ceramics/Pottery
Decorative Bowls
Decorative Plates
Vintage Linen
Wool Blankets
Vintage Clothing - 60s - 90s
Jewelry/Costume/Vintage
Small Size Furniture
Benches
Small Desks
Decorative Furniture
wHAT WE WON’T ACCEPT:
We are not looking to consign broken, damaged, repaired, or large furniture.
HOW IT WORKS
Selected Items
IMPORTANT: It is the responsibility of the consigner to keep track of the dates and times and how long your items have been on the floor.
Items will be displayed on the floor for a maximum of four months. If items are not sold within this time frame they will be kept at the store for up to one week. After the collection week has expired, we are no longer liable for the items and they will be donated, without notice to the consigner. If the consigner would like the items back, we can remove them from the floor before the expiry date.
Accepted items will be kept at the retail price for three months before being reduced in price. Items that are not picked up within the three months will be reduced. We will not be contacting the consigner when the times are set to expire. The consigner is welcome to retrieve the items once the three months are up.
Pricing
We, the management, will set the prices and reserve the right to have sales and discount items. Pricing depends on a variety of factors including rarity, quality, condition, style and age. The only exception is for higher end designer items or rare hard to find items. Prices on high end items can be negotiated with the store management.
When an Item Sells
Congratulations! We’re happy that your item(s) sold. The consigner will receive 40% of the selling price of the item if/when sold. For high-end items costing over $200, the consigner will receive 50% of the sale price.
Pay Outs
Zoe’s Store Inc. will e-Transfer money between the 27th and 31st of every month. Checks will be issued by request only.
Disclaimer: Zoe’s Store Inc. has no responsibility to pay the consigner for unsold items, and we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Zoe’s Store Inc. will not receive or honour any special requests to hold items that have expired.
