Zoe's history
The building on the corner at 1403–14th Street SW was built in 1909 and has been serving Calgary since the first business opened in 1919. For over 50 years, it’s been home to community focused shops supporting the Sunalta area. In 2008, Zoe brought her own vision to life in this very space.
Meet Zoe
Thirty years ago, Zoe moved from Croatia to Calgary and discovered the magic of thrift stores. Inspired to create a space for everyone, from every walk of life, she envisioned a place where people could come together and feel at home.
In 2008, Zoe opened her thrift store — a personal, eclectic, and truly unique spot in the community. Over the years, the store has evolved, but her passion has never changed. She proudly calls herself a “Professional Thrift Shopper” and loves the constant work and learning that come with the business.
For Zoe, it’s never just about selling home décor and clothing — it’s about building relationships, fostering a sustainable lifestyle, and offering affordable treasures that bring joy to people’s lives.
